It's the 7000th episode of Coronation Street! The focus is on Maria, being absolutely sure that Tony Gordon has killed her husband, and his wife is Carla trying to protect him from Maria. There is a lot of gossip going on between the neighbours. We also find out that Leane is not going to see Peter, because he is in a clinic. The first break hook is when Carla calls the police and presses charges against Maria, who is terrorizing her husband.The hook at the end of the episode is Maria hitting Tony with her car.
The second episodes also evolves around Maria and Tony, including Tina-David- Gary triangle, as well as Ken meeting Martha, which happens to be the first break hook. The second one is that Maria might be eventually charged for an attempted murder.
